Second trip up to Lake Winnipeg this winter for a little bit of redemption. We had a short trip earlier that produced an amazing number of fish but not the giant greenback walleye that Lake Winnipeg is known for.
We returned and were able to catch some really nice fish along with numbers. Been going up to Lake Winnipeg for several years and I have never caught so many fish between 17-22 inches as I have this year. Of course there is still a good chance for a trophy class fish that is over thirty inches. We show the DIY experience on Lake Winnipeg with how to break down water and find fish. This winter of 2020, the hot lure for us was the CPT Super Leech Flutter Spoon in gold and red or gold and orange. One of our favorite places to film each winter. Lake Winnipeg is one of the best winter ice fisheries on the planet for walleyes and big walleyes. Home of the Greenbacks!
