Jason Mitchell stops by Mobridge, South Dakota to give a seminar and meet and greet before the Mobridge Annual Ice Fishing Tournament. Had some time to ice fishing for walleye on Lake Oahe before the event and was great to meet so many passionate ice anglers.
Incredible event that holds a team format with over 525 teams. Large area to fish with some impressive weights each year but what is most impressive about this tournament are the prizes. Over $225,000 in prizes… Do the math. A lot of people walk away with some impressive prizes that range from hard-sided fish houses and aluminum trailers to ice augers, gift cards, Clam fish houses and Vexilar Units. This annual tournament has been running for nearly twenty years and keeps getting better each season. One of the largest true tournaments in the world of ice fishing.
