This week’s episode of Jason Mitchell Outdoors takes us to western Minnesota in search of trophy bluegills through the ice with our good friend and frequent guest, Tony Marrioti. Tony discusses factors necessary for big panfish along with many of the tactics he uses to catch them through the ice. Later in the show, we travel to North Dakota’s Devils Lake where we use a new Northland Spinner Harness and bottom bouncer to catch several nice walleyes with Ron Ellis from Woodland Resort.

This week’s show takes us to the Garrison Dam Tailrace in central North Dakota where we use jigs to catch several walleyes with Eric Olson from Evinrude.  Besides discussing several tactics to catching fish and controlling the boat on a river during the winter months, Olson explains how new motor technology is making anglers much more effective and efficient while out on the water.  Later, we travel to the Little Falls, Rice Creek Gun Fair where we experience the joys of shooting firearms and get some great tips on shooting from famous exhibition shooter, Tom Knapp.  Next, we travel to Devils Lake, North Dakota and explain how to find walleyes by targeting shallow reed flats during the middle of July, with Ron Ellis from Woodland Resort.
