The Ashland Wisconin region offers some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the world for giant bass (that top over five pounds) on Chequmegon Bay. The big water is also known for giant walleye and lake trout. The inland waters are some of the best fisheries around for numbers of musky along with bass and panfish.
