From the Missouri River System, the Red River to Devils Lake, we film a lot of great shows in North Dakota for a simple reason, the fishing is awesome. The Missouri River and Lake Sakakawea are favorite destinations for filming walleye shows. Devils Lake is our go to ice fishing mecca where we get some of the most extraordinary walleye and perch footage possible, not to mention great open water walleye material to use in our shows. The Red River is one of the most under recognized trophy catfish water in the United States.

Bismarck Mandan Convention and Visitors Bureau
Legendary spring and fall walleye runs on the Missouri River combined with great wing shooting makes the Bismarck Mandan area a must stop for Jason Mitchell Outdoors each year. This community is in the heart of some of the best walleye fishing on the entire Missouri River.

Devils Lake Area Tourism
Devils Lake is one of the greatest ice fishing destinations in the Midwest for walleye, pike and perch but the open water walleye and pike fishing plus incredible waterfowl hunting opportunities makes this outdoor playground a must do. Jason Mitchell spent several years guiding on Devils Lake and earned a legendary reputation as a guide on this massive body of water. Unique open water patterns for walleye make this lake extremely enjoyable to film.

Garrison Area Tourism
The community of Garrison, North Dakota is located near Lake Sakakawea, North Dakota's largest body of water. This Missouri River reservoir offers world class walleye fishing along with abundant numbers of pheasants and waterfowl. While the walleye fishing made this lake legendary, there are also opportunities for chinook salmon, smallmouth bass and giant northern pike. Several thousand acres of public land is also available for both waterfowl and upland bird hunters.

Fargo Moorehead CVB
The Red River of the North is one of North America's premier catfish fisheries for giant catfish that top out over twenty pounds. The Communities of Fargo and Moorehead (located on each side of the Red River) offer numerous motels, shopping venues and restaurants for visiting anglers and tourists.

Kenmare Goosefest
Kenmare, North Dakota located in the north central region of North Dakota is a waterfowl hunters' dream. Massive migrations of snow and blue geese, Canada geese, mallards along with several other species of puddle ducks and diver ducks come through the region each fall. Upland game hunting opportunities are also abundant for pheasants, sharptail grouse and Hungarian partridge. The community of Kenmare hosts "Goosefest" each fall which brings thousands of waterfowl enthusiasts together from all over the world. Goosefest is a seven day festival that celebrates waterfowl hunting.
